Fog City Shields by Modern World Ventures: This is the time of the year that those of us that wear full-face helmets can have fogging problems. I have tried a lot of liquids and found none that can compare to the Fog City Shields. I have been using them for several years and have not had a problem with fog on my shield since. They have now added three new colored shields to their line, yellow, blue & rose. If you wanted more than one style, you would need to have extra helmet shields as the Fog City shields are put on with a glued edge and can only be put on once. They can be cleaned with soap & water and the clear shields do not impair vision at all. The colored shields should only be used in daylight. You can purchase the Fog City Shields in most motorcycle shops, especially if they sell full-face helmets. They are inexpensive, about $15.00 and are worth every penny. FogCity Pro Shields by Modern World is in my opinion, a wonderful safety and performance accessory that every rider and co-rider that wears a full-faced helmet absolutely needs. Carm & I have used these shields for several years now and we like them so well, that I even put them in the various helmets that I do product evaluations on. They really don't let the shield fog up and you can see clearly without having to open the face shield. The shields fit all standard full-face helmets, including Shoei. For owners of Arai helmets, there is a special one that is custom shaped to fit Arai brow vented visors. I have only had to install one per helmet visor as they last as long as the visor will. You can only put them on once, so you have to make sure you do it right the first time. The new Pro Shields even have better sticking capabilities. The instructions that come with them are very easy to follow. Take a look at the photo and you will see how easy it really is to install. They work well all year long and clean with soap and water or most other cleaners you use on your windshield. These inserts provide permanent anti-fog protection by instantly sheeting away surface moisture, keeping fog from forming on the surface and blurring your vision. And they are very inexpensive and can be purchased at your local motorcycle dealer. I personally don't recommend anything but the clear shields for the riders, but they do come in a variety of colors and would be nice for the co-riders.
